God's name, Jehovah, is not a mere label. How so? That name means He causes to Become. Simply put, God has the love, power, and wisdom to become whatever he deems necessary in order to accomplish his purpose and fulfill His word. For example, he can become a Savior of the righteous, a Destroyer of the wicked, a Hearer of prayer, or a loving Father - whatever he chooses to become.
"I am the Divine One," Jehovah says, the finale,..... the One saying, 'My own counsel will stand, and everything that is my delight I shall do." (Isaiah 46:9,10) Because God cause his name, or reputation, is involved, his written Word is not a man that he should tell lies." - Numbers 23:19.

Theology Matters
Consider this conversation between a little boy and his father.
Who made me? He asked. God, Dad replied. Who made you? the little boy continued. God did. Again, the boy asked, Did God make everybody?
Yes, Dad responded, all the people in the world. So far, Dad's answers were correct, but the tought question followed:
If God made all the people in the world, then who made God? Dad scratched his head, then said, I guess God made himself.
Wrong anser! To sa that God made Himself implies that at one time God did not exist and that He is a created being. This contradicts the scriptural assertion the God is creator, not created, that He has always existed apart from His creation, that He is the uncaused cause, the unmoved mover, the I AM.
The calls to mind the importance of a theological consturct. Theology; theos, God; ology: study, is a science. The task of a scientist is to make sense of the world by formulation theories about it that are no-contradictory and consistent with known facts. Similarly, the theologian brings clarity to the Scriptures by making sense of its various parts and by presenting a picture of God; a construct that is harmonious and non-contradictory.
